About D2 Deuterium Lamp
D2 Deuterium Lamp is a low pressure based light source which is required in spectroscopy procedure in presence of UV light. This gas discharge based light source generates intense UV radiation by using electric arc. The range of spectral power distribution generated by this radiation is maximum 400 mm. As suitable analytical instrument, D2 Deuterium Lamp is used as integral part of liquid chrlomatography detector, pollution analyzer and densitometer for its high intensity light. This lamp has around 2000 hours of average life.
